Chevy in the 2000s

The 2000s brought power back in a big way: LS engines, stronger trucks, and the rebirth of retro style. Chevy leaned on its heritage while modernizing for a new century.

2000–2004: LS Power Everywhere

Corvette C5 Z06 redefined performance. Silverado HD trucks gained Duramax diesels and Allison transmissions, making them towing monsters.

2005–2008: Retro Revival & Muscle Returns

SSR roadster truck, HHR retro wagon, and the return of the Impala SS. Trucks grew more refined, and LS engines became swap kings.
